Recreational Team

The UVM Recreational Climbing team consists of over 280 students of all skill levels. Any undergraduate or graduate student at UVM who is interested in climbing is encouraged to join.

Meet-ups

3 two-hour meet-ups a week are offered. If you are offered financial aid please be aware that if you do not use your membership at all without giving notice to a club leader, your ability to receive financial aid in the future will be revoked.

Meet-up Expectations

Climbers are essentially "let loose" in the gym for the first 1.5 hours of each practice. The remaining 30 minutes is spent with a coach-led group workout (all Rec Team members are expected to participate).

Sunday | 7:30p-10p (bus still leaves at 9:30)

Credit

Members of Recreational Team can receive one (1) credit per school year for club sports. This means that if you'd like to receive a credit for Climbing Team, you can apply for it either Fall or Spring semester, but not both. To be awarded credit, attend a minimum of 8 meet-ups in full (including abs at the end of practice). Apply for credit in the Linktree.
